There is a rubber seal inside the valve so that it acts as a 1 way valve whilst inflating, so if you need to take a rest between breaths it won’t deflate. To deflate stick you finger into the valve enough to move the flap and compress the mattress.

It inflates and deflates easily, packs away very small, and is nice and light - but don't believe the 0.
I found it very simply to inflate, deflate and pack away.

No r-value, so for summer use only.

The materials used appear solid and it comes with a repair patch and glue

The only real negative is that if you move about even small movements it makes a lot of noise especially when against a ground sheet imagine screwing up a crisp packet that sort of noise had a few comments from mates that they could hear it from their tents 23 meters away in the night
