Quality

It was well bellow zero i was irritated by the amount of condensation dripping on my head through the night and the weight.

Price

Great value for money and a generous 2 man trekking tent.

The best budget tent for camping in strong winds and heavy rain.

So if the tent is on offer and not full price i would recommend it.

Decent tent for the money, plenty of room inside for one and a rucksack, fine for all seasons due to the three poles.

Packaging/appearance

Large bag for packing and allows to be packed when wet.

Packing system is by far the best in class, so easy to take down and pack up no rolling up and trying to fit into a tiny bag.

Slept with the door netting closed and inside of the tent was literally wet.

The wide mouthed stuff sack will be a boon if i have to pack away wet.

Competitiveness

Having previously owned a vango tent i felt confident with the brand.

Sure there are lighter tents available but this is the best for value and weather proof without breaking the bank.

Amazon and vango both need to change their marketing material to note that this isn't included.

You can get a mirage 200 footprint which would do the same but no one stocks this.

I bought this tent solely to use for moto camping and i wanted a two man tent that would pack down to a smaller size than my three man “flash frame” tent

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The tent proved to be easy to erect in terms of threading the poles through the sleeves however the gothic arch pole does require a little more input to thread it around the peak of the top curve but not a real problem

The overall feel of the tent is one of precision and quality and really lacks very little

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

There is a small internal mesh storage pocket at the apex of the gothic arch which most people seem to miss

Another nice feature is that the front openings can be left or right centre or the whole of the front can be opened up

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The inner front opening can be zipped from the top or bottom and has a mesh ventilation panel at the top

It is not quite as good as the original one i bought over 20 years ago

In that there is no longer an entire insect proof front door just a small window meaning it does not allow a breeze when hot
