It comes with a little instruction booklet telling you how to install this on your computer. Initializing the drive is part of the installation process, ensuring your data remains safe. Do that through disk management & then format it &amp.

Crystaldisk info shows no errors or problems. It's a brand new drive with zero hours on it & 100% good. Swapping is the ssd for the mechanical drive was a 5 minute job.
