Pros

Usb-c interface on the drive and the combination usba/c cable are the best choices for the interface and cable. The drive is fairly small, and it comes with usb-a tousb-c adapter and a nice carrying bag. Comes with carrying pouch so you can store it.

Reviewer received the 256gb model when he used to participate in the vine program. It has a capacity of 500 gb. The main advantage is the amount of storage space.

The drive is very compact and portable. It fit right into my phone, and when i figured out how to get my photos downloaded over to it, all was great.

Cons

I commend amazon for making it easy to return it. This ssd uses the jmicron usb controller which does not work well with the rpi4. With other files and all other games it does consistently disconnect/reconnect.

Write speeds that i got for my result is 36% slower than advertised.

If you ask me, yes, sure, the speeds are not what is advertised.

(01/30/2023)i ran the 1tb model through its paces and compared it with the 256gb model i previously received through the vine program.

Other peoples' results with their 256gb model seem to align with mine within margin of error, and doesn't appear to be any unit variation.
