Pros

Reviewer received the 256gb model when he used to participate in the vine program. The installation is very simple, the speed is obviously improved. The main advantage is the amount of storage space you get.

Everything works exactly how you think it should, like a thumb drive on steroids. While that would normally be super irritating, i'm willing to over look it in this case. This one by vansuny is a decent option.

I frequently find myself needing to back up a few large files. It's very compact and portable. Packs an os in your pocket.

Cons

I commend amazon for making it easy to return it. But the website description and photos clearly show usb c ports. This ssd uses the jmicron usb controller which does not work well with the rpi4. Two games where it does not do this, but with other fil... Read More

This ssd is very portatil and fast, with a strong assembly and high quality materials, it's very cool the easy installation

The drive is well-made, and the metal body feels solid.

The drive feels like it has a solid aluminum casing (except for ends).

It takes a little bit more space to get that extra speed, usually, or a higher price point.

Came with a storage bag to keep it from getting scratches.

It comes with the cable, and a little baggy to carry it in, which i didn't use because i have pockets.

And i like fact there’s no ‘bloatware’ on it like there is on a lot of the name brand drives.

This portable ssd is faster than typical thumb drives of similar capacity.
