Being outdoors during the summer means taking precautions or having a really bad time. As a carpenter i’m typically outside in the summers when it gets really hot.

The fabric is very light and comfortable and they don't cling or bunch up when wet unlike the hanes shirts. These shirts, a pair of upf 50+ long pants, and a wide brim hat do the trick for me.

The fit is true to size for an average build person. Maybe a tiny bit long in the torso but not enough to really irritate me. Xl fits perfect.

I prefer vapor for its lighter and hopefully cooler material weight, longer sleeves, slightly trimmer fit, and it’s stitching pattern at the shoulder. Only downside is product orgin columbia.
