The product is lightweight and very bright but used it for the first time and had it in my pocket on a key bunch but because you have to loosen the lens cap to turn it off it had come off completely and was in bits when pulled from my pocket

Have had 2 already using my second so bought two more because they were cheaper than my first two first was 15 quid from high street

Dont think the two brightness settings are necessary but you get used to remembering to double click the switch so torch isnt on in your pocket

I didnt want to spend a lot but at the same time i didnt want something that came out of a christmas cracker that would fail after a month

The settings are on full power on lower power and off controlled by a single button on the end of the torch

I bought this torch over two years ago after ditching two rechargeable torches which i bought to save costs and be more environmentally friendly that failed miserably due to poor strength of beam and loss of power midway through nighttime walks

If there is one weakness it is the inner battery unit in that it is pretty flimsy and plastic though a plus side to this is the fact this battery unit can be replaced should said batteries leak in the unit and not erroding the secondary battery contacts of the torch proper
