I have not used the second set of 'jaws' but i have no doubt they will be of equal quality.
Packaging/appearance
Yes the choice is great for these things but offers it all from the ferrules to the std terminals.
Competitiveness
I was not in the market for a new crimper.
They may be 1/5th of the price, but they're plenty better than 1/5th as good, imho.

But at this price range you almost get the crimper for free given the cost of crimper sets i thought why not and bought it
