I was originally looking at the iographer but after going to a local store and looking at it in person it was obvious they spent much more money on the box and presentation than the actual item which looked cheap and no padding at all

Yes its cheap plastic but your going to use it to hold a smart phone or a tablet its several times stronger than it needs to be to perform either task if you bought it to use it as an engine hoist your going to be sadly disappointed

I say its awkward because it cant be centered since that would be where the camera hole is but you can balance the clip on the corner of the phone and it holds in place for a picture
