Pros

If you have a wife or daughters and slow shower drains this is your pal. Our sink drains like new. That's how much my plumber was going to charge me to come over and snake my sink.

These little beauties pull even the gnarliest clump of congealed hair/toothpaste/soap shmutz out. These are a cheap and quick way to clear minor clogs.

Cons

The only way to remove it is to disassemble my tub plumbing. Pieces were all broken. This time it could not be retrieved with pliers and required taking the piping apart. Now i have a clogged pipe and a drain snake stuck in there.

Half of it broke stuck in the drain.

Prior to buying these, i was using a nut pick to try to get down in the drain and hook hair balls and yank them out.
