My current soldering iron that i have had for a while needed a new tip but unfortunately these are no longer available

The soldering iron turns off by itself if left unused for 15 minutes not seen it do this as i turn off if not using for any length of time the speed at which is heats up makes turning off and on less of an inconvenience
