Pros
It seems durable enough to last a few seasons so when he outgrows it, he will pass it down to his younger cousins. My toddler loves to play with this during the summer which helps for learning the basics for tee ball.
Cons
The snail isn't heavy at all so it falls over even with the thing they give you to anchor it down. Difficult to manage waterflow, easily tips over, baseball bat keeps collapsing.

The water holds up the ball as long as the snail stays upright but when the snail leans a little the ball will fall off the water
