I bought this air purifier for my office and with hindsight being 2020 i wish i would have spent more for an oransi max or an alen unit

I’ve had this unit running for a few weeks in my office and there is still a synthetic glue type smell emitting from the filter or the unit

I would have also preferred if the unit drew contaminated air from the front or sides instead of the back because you have to keep the unit several inches away from a wall for it to draw air

The unit works very well and the controls are very intuitive and adding pretty good build quality this air purifier is good just not great

I was deciding between this and the levoit unit and ended up purchasing this one instead although not saying levoit would be a bad option
