The holder is also very sturdy and it will hold in the cd player regardless of the weight of the phone.
It is very easy to install and i have had no issues with placing the holder into the cd slot.
The sticky ones on the dash and the suction ones on the windshield block your view and are illegal in some states.
I had a grip mount that i was using previously, which worked well but this is a huge leap forward.

This fit in multiple cd slots i tested in and tightens by turning the adjustment that angles the other piece creating a solid hold
