The part that mounts to the bike is metal and grips the handle bar tight

Just like most bike holders you stick it on front of the bike so that the rider can properly view its phone and see what they are doing and where they are going

I could not handle the fact that at one point i would have to steer the bike with one hand and use my other hand to hold the phone

The side pieces that hold the phone in place interfere with the volume controls on the phone regardless of which side i use for the phone

The smaller side is somewhat better but the larger piece on the left of the vava unit as shown causes the volume control to be useless and continually presses on one of the two volume control units
