Easy to clean and with the auto shut-off when water is gone will eliminate burning the motor.
I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.
The only downside is, you can’t get water in the tube where the steam comes out which apparently ruins the product.
You can get to pretty much all surfaces for cleaning with a brush, which was supplied with the unit.
Competitiveness
Easy to fill and the lets off more steam than others in the same price range.
It's also much easier to clean than other models i've had.

Im mostly used to it now but the humidifier is placed right next to the bed so i can get maximum benefit and the light is annoying

I have a fan generating white noise so even when its loud i cant really hear it but if you like a silent room you should be aware that it will eventually make an obnoxious sound
