The hdmi port stopped working after 10 months, however customer support sent me a brand new one with express shipping.
Similarly, the fast charging still works while transferring the files and connecting the external mouse or keyboards.

After the first attempt to purchase the usbc hub for my mac i found it a bit loose on the usba connection and worry that it might broken my devices that connected to it and i returned the item

This is a really great dongle just be aware that this is not designed to mount usb c devices it only allows power pass thru using usb c

You will have to use the other usb c port on the mac air if you wish to transfer documents onto a usb c stick
