Pros

Not bad on its lowest setting, but noisier than most when on full power.

The unit has a very large hepa filter in the base, and a very powerful fan to pull air through the filter. This however can be changed manually or via the remote. The trick is to use some sticky back velcro on the main unit & the rc.

The vax unit is a must for allergy sufferers. For someone that has sinus issues i wake up being able to breath well, no stuffy ness.

Cons

Out of amazon return period so having problems even returning something under manufacturer guarantee. Disappointing that a replacement filter costs £50!

High pitched running noise with a constantly varying pitch means you either end up switching the unit off, or switching it back to standard. Night mode is rubbish, it is almost silent doing nothing.

It works incredibly well, the automatic adjustment to meet the air quality is great and really helps the place feeling fresh.

I moved into a new build and soon started developing a stabbing pain in my lungs and waking up with water retention in my face and hands.

It is very quiet during normal operation, and it can get even quieter in night mode where the light also is barely noticeable.
