Very good machine does the job and nice feeling warms the carpet from the motors heat to help drying.
Excellent cleaner, brings out the dirt & carpets dried within a couple of hours, (after a deep clean).
I hired a rug doctor and found this cumbersome to use and left floor overly saturated.
Second, its a real faff to dismantle parts of the machine in order to keep the brush bar and suction head clean.

The price is absolutely fantastic for what it is and i would highly recommend it.
Half the price of the carpet cleaning service and i now have a machine to do other carpets.
This is a dream, after messy landlord builder work was able to chance upon a prime discount and got it for £142.

Competitiveness
I did a bit of research to find the best and looking at a top 10 list the first 9 were vax.
And now i'll have to get my a** up and do the whole living room because in comparison the cream carpet is 2 shades, off white and cream.

We tried an experiment and cleaned half of a rug in our hallway when it dried you could really tell the difference

You could see the line up the middle the colours on the clean side were brighter the pile higher it felt nicer underfoot

I used it on a floor that had had a bed in place for 16 years the dust was half an inch thick

I hoovered off the dust but even after hoovering the floor clean putting the vax platinum on it pulled out so much fluff and dust from the carpet pile i had to clean out the water guide 4 times
