I could not see an obvious socket on the vacuum unit

So i opened the instruction booklet to try see where it was

There is a drawn illustration of the socket but it was a close up of the area and doesnt really give you a good indication of where it is on the unit

After youve emptied the rubbish you need to put the lid back into the compartment making sure you line up the little guiding slots on the units otherwise the lid will not go all the way in and you wont be able to put the whole thing back into the machine

Another nitpick is that the machine doesnt stand up on it own

So if you need to switch off mid vacuum maybe to move something out of the way you have to lean it against something or it will topple over backwards
