I just steadied it with the other hand (handle on top).
I used this combination with the three heads mentioned - for stairs and around coving.
This model has one downside compared with the old model.
Only fault is not with the vacuum , but with amazon for not issuing a receipt!

And the price was good too, sale now on.
Packaging/appearance
Just get rid of packaging and click handle on.
Competitiveness
All in all,the product is as expected,does the work well.
Uprights are so much better all round.
After decades of using a different brand, i can now vax lyrical about the vax!

The first two were a previous model so it did not have the stair accessories hence i decided to try this one now

When trying to vacuum undee the beds the brush side is lifting probably due to the vacuums shape so not being in contact with the floor it doesnt clean
