All you need is a pair of scissors to open box. Was super easy to unfold and set up. Just unfold, rotate and place support arms and tighten wing nuts.

Not needing a box spring is so beneficial for me. Needed something simple and inexpensive for my spare bedroom. I have an air mattress still cause mattress's are spendy, but this works really well.

You need to screw the headboard in place and then screw the frame on top of it. You will need to make some adjustments to the bolt placement.
