My father was a carpenter and i strongly disagree with the other review from the guy who says hes an engineer and the threads were out and the beds are very chinese

You just have to read the instructions properly and dont screw the bolts in too tightly until after youve inserted the metal slats or otherwise youll have to loosen them to get the slats in

Cannot fault it so far has only been slept on briefly as it is a guest bed

I was very sceptical about this bed mainly because of the price having read the reviews i took a risk the bed arrived early packaged exceptionally well and when we opened it i was pleasantly surprized at how good it looked even before it was put together

Its a matte black finish which i was pleased about as i often find shiny metal beds scrape easily then look awful
