It's sturdier and heavier than i expected which is a plus. Bought 2. Heavy pieces for the price. Perfect for a table lamp and a coaster. But the stand being 15&3/4 x 13&amp:3/ 4 square piece.

That’s the only reason it took a little longer to put together, as i scrutinized each step to be sure. Once you're done with that, it's a breeze to assemble.

The wooden dowels are too small to fit snug in the pre-drilled holes. Wood pegs are pretty much for show and were not snug enough to aid in alignment or longevity. Go to a hardware store and pick up some dowels from it and cut to match.
