Added value is the padded top. The fabric hasn't torn or scratched; it's resilient and durable. The top has some padding covered by a textured plastic.

These are pretty standard fare card table and chairs, and they do the job. There were no complaints from the guests. Better value than the big box stores.

Cons

Took a little effort to return it since it came in 2 boxes and when you return only gives you one label. I'm surprised amazon sells this product. Do not buy.

You have to press super hard on the lever to get them to depress. Besides that, they stick out by 5 or 6 inches when they've been closed, instead of lying flush with the back of the card table.

Wanted to keep the chairs, get a table sent or refund the amount off the total paid for the value of the table.

However, for the price you can’t beat it.

Update: velco company came thru and the made the situation right.

Packaging/appearance

Great looking additional seating for the holidays and easy to store for the next time is needed.

The boxes they came in were sturdy, so i will keep them to store my set when not in use.
