It is very sturdy and doesn't squeak! It seems sturdy enough. Once you tighten all pieces with the allen wrench, it is pretty sturdy.

I'm a +300 pound bodybuilder and it doesn't budge at all.

My 3 year old granddaughter keeps saying how pretty her new bed is. Great design and the finishing is good. Super cute bed frame. Good value for the money.
