Pros

The clamping and micro adjust feature works very well. The micro adjust is 100% real & functional - works awesome. The fence bulges in the middle a bit, but that turns out to be fine, as it gives clearance out the back.

Overall, i love this fence and it truly upped my game. Works exactly as promised. Great setup. Couldn't be happier.

This fence glides across the table almost effortlessly. A little fiddly attaching the fence to rail slide. The table also serves as storage for sheet panels, and provides enormous mass to damp out vibration and resist motion of any kind.

Cons

The clamp is a joke at best. The fence drift is bad enough but getting it to lock into place is nearly impossible. Instructions are useless.

My parts were all well made and clean of burrs on the mounts.

After many hours use, the fence is still right on marks.

My cuts are straighter than before, once set, this fence just doesn't move, even when cutting heavy 4x8' sheets of mdf.

This is a lower costing table fence extension, but very very worth it.

Also got wixey digital scale from woodcraft on sale $99.

This is a great option for the price.

Btw, amazon shipping was outstanding on this, as i received it promptly in 2 days, packed solidly.

Got the u50 within a week of order.

Yesterday the package arrived and this morning i installed the fence.

The tech immediately knew what i was talking about and two days later i received the piece.

Packaging/appearance

It will likely come damaged unless packaging has been improved.

Received it in good condition, the box was slightly damaged and there was a scratch on the rear rail, no big deal.

Competitiveness

I bought the vega u50 professional fence about 1998 to replace the factory fence on my grizzly 1022 table saw.

The only down side, is unlike the delta, the vega has no support for the table extensions.

I think the fence cost as much as the saw and the fence made the saw perform much better.
