I bought this solely for courgette spirals based on two reviews on here but the hand guard was useless it just spun around mashing a big hole in the courgette and not moving the courgette through the blades

As mentioned in other comments this just makes a circular hole in the courgette when you turn it the courgette doesnt turn with it
