Quality
I purchased this press after looking on amazon, and was delighted with the product.
I am very happy with the construction made very solidly.
However it only came with the spoon to stir with and the product picture also includes the mixer which does not come with this product.
I decided to spend a little extra to get the thick, insulated carafe but am disappointed that the filter doesn't work the best.
Price
Fabulous french press at an amazingly affordable price highly recommended.
Packaging/appearance
I have used this dozens of times now over the past several months and it looks and works like brand-new once it comes out of the wash!
Being metal this one is pretty much guaranteed not to shatter when the spoon grazes the side.
The extras were a nice touch but the button fell off of the frother.
I have always handwashed the press, so avoiding the dishwasher will not prevent the paint from peeling.
Competitiveness
It also came with a frother which is a fun bonus.
This is a well-made, easy to use, easy to clean press that looks good in our kitchen.

It has mostly held up after a year of daily use however i have had two problems with it

I dont want to replace the entire plunger apparatus but i see no alternative and the press is currently unusable because of this

I recommend potential buyers invest in a more quality press to avoid issues like this since it is difficult to replace component parts
