Pros

If you need the d850 battery grip, this is for you. Get a pair of batteries(wasabi) and covers. Back then, the nikon branded grips were reasonably priced.

The d850 recognizes the battery grip as an oem product. This enables you to shoot more shots on one charge of your camera. It is a good ergonomic fit to hand hold the camera, especially for vertical shots.

Cons

I’m able to function without it, though it’s disappointing. Still not worth it to me to pay the absurd price nikon asks for theirs.

Got me 9fps on the d850 with an el-15 battery so this is a major win

This grip works as well as the nikon grip on the d850.

I reckon i'm not as picky as some, but the buttons and dials work just fine for $300+ less than nikon's ;-).

Would definetly recommend buying this unit if you are considering this addition, at 1/4 the price of the nikon unit.

Returning for another try then a different brand.

However, it works with my nikon d850 camera.
