I wound up with the top right and bottom left corner never going precisely flat so there is air underneath

The screen protector does do what its advertised to do and protects the screen no worries there

Update after returning from a 2 week trip with my new camera i did receive a replacement and am happy to report that i had no trouble removing the previous protector and the new protector went on very nearly perfectly the first time i applied it

One corner had a bubble and i was able to quickly press that out with the guitarpicklike plastic tool that was included

So far no bubbles have returned and since its glass it certainly will protect the screen better than a plastic film
