I especially like that it only uses the battery power for actual timed functions if you want to use it as a wired remote it will work without powering it on

The main difficulty is that the timer functions are difficult to program until one understands that you must not turn the timer on until you plug it into the camera with the camera also off

If you want to take sequences of more than 399 frames it has an intuitive “until you turn it off” mode
