    While i could barely rotate the lens in the ebay version and feared that loosening that collar would cause it to open and drop the lens this one rotates reasonably smoothly with a think black felt lining in contact with the lens barrel

    Purposely rotating the camera is also easy and doesnt require much turning of the knob
