After initial bad review i kept playing with the sound settings and found that normal laptop sound settings will overdrive the microphone and you will end up with distortion

I found that if i set the microphone setting at 25 while setting the speaker setting at 33 there was little to no distortion when recording

My motherboard integrated port was putting out sound in one speaker

You have to crank down the mic to 50 in windows settings or else people in meetings will hear a constant high pitched audio buzz from you

Its pretty quiet with regular lineout too not perfectly quiet but good enough

Its lightweight compact and installs itself so there is literally 0 setup other than waiting for your machine to download and install the drivers which takes all of 10 seconds
