The bottle is leak proof. I wish it was dishwasher safe. My only complaint is that when you pick it up by the handle it does sometimes loosen a bit and will leak if you don't check to make sure it's tightened.

Cons

One big flaw is the straw and the lid for the straw make it very difficult to actually get a drink. The latch is * so 1,5 month in using it it never latches so if it falls water spills everywhere. The lids break easily.
