Getting to yes is a bullet list of five maxims for being persuasive. The author makes it very, very known that he was a cop. Maybe this is why there is a shoot first, ask questions later mentality with police around the us.
But when it comes to tips/advice/execution, its only about three sentences throughout the entire book that benefited me. Read a book about actual judo - or better yet, jiujitsu - and then think about ways to use those concepts verbally.

Some reader might object to the authors unrepentent use of lists and acronyms i found that if you just ignore the list and acronym format and concentrate on the content youll get every bit of the benefit of the text
