Easy to install cool’s effectively lighting is good.
This does not keep my i5 from throttling under heavy load.
Idle temps are 30*c, and doesn't go past 40*c even with heavy transcoding using the integrated graphics.
Price
So i will say, for the money, this cooler is pretty dang good.
For the price, you can't beat it.
This was the cheapest recommended item i could find which is why i got it with the lights.

I broke my cpu cooler and needed a cheap one that has same day delivery.
Packaging/appearance
Did come with a packet of thermal paste but i did not use it.
Competitiveness
I compare this favorably to the traditional intel stock cooler.
With the case buttoned up, it performs much better than the stock intel cooler, and it's much quieter.
This cooler averaged 15% better performance over the stock intel cooler and was also quieter.
Intel does not include a stock cooler with the k-series chips for obvious reasons.

Its a good cooling solution for processors with locked multipliers nonk cpus or lower core counts that dont generate as much heat as the higher core count 8 or ksku ones
