Pros

The craftsmanship, for the most part, is fantastic. The hive body itself seems to be of decent quality.

This is a starter kit for beekeeping beginners. From all of the reading, research and consultation with beekeeping experts that i did, it is clear that i need more parts.

Box also has a queen excluder and an entrance reducer. Comes well-packaged in a cardboard box. Box is a bit heavier than it looks.

Cons

They provide self-tapping screws but there should have been indentations to show the correct placement. The dovetail joints are all off, causes splits, gaps and bad fits. Brood frame chambers and honey frame chambers are of poor quality!

I feel like this is very quality material.

Everything fits together nicely and the end result is sturdy, easily moved with two built-in handles, and has a fresh cedar/wax scent.

5 to 3 hours to put hive together and the 40 frames that go in the two supers and two deeps.

You do need to assemble this brood box yourself, however, doing so took me less than one hour.

Price

I don’t mind putting things together to save some money.

For the money this seems like a good starter for bee keeping.

Packaging/appearance

From the minute i opened the box, i was impressed.

—————————————————————-the package came damaged, the top cover was came broken.

Opening this box up i was surprised it was completely unassembled.

This time the package come in good condition, everything is neatly packed inside(as the last 3 pics).

Competitiveness

You can tell there are obvious gaps between wood planks with the cover, i’ve bought several different hiveboxes from different brands.

Although i’m not a professional beekeeper, i’ve bought hive boxes from 5 different sellers/brands.
