Pros

Replaced the 1 1/16th hp motor with this 1 ½ hp motor. Added another bolt on mounting bracket at saw housing. Have a 1965 craftsman table saw with the original 1hp motor.

You energize one or the other to start the thing moving cw or ccw. When wiring, unlike others, wire for a ccw rotation as per instructions located on motor. Rechecked my wiring and plugged it in.

Is slightly noisier then the old motor but that is to be expected. The old motor was a different type and oiled bearing case motor. Tons of torque and reversible.

Just got the belt pully from amazon. Attached and connected the drive belt and the motor runs great.

Cons

Took almost 3 weeks to receive. Came in damaged. This 2hp motor is junk! If your looking for a quality motor, and a headache free experience, spend a few extra dollars on a leeson.

This motor is made very nicedule capacitors nice construction and i put it thru an overload condition test.

H motor has done great job working the compressor and getting it fixed

This motor has way more power than the old one i replaced and it is very quiet.

I ran this thing under a large load it took 3 hours before it shut down.

The price was right and so far it is performing well.

The value for the money is definitely there.

Oh and the price was way less than others for sale.

I covered the exposed slots that were under those boxes with vinyl graphic film to seal out the elements.
