Pros

The dremel 300 is much more versatile than its predecessor. The foot pedal is great for drilling precision holes in metal.

Easy to use. Well balanced and high quality. Very satisfied so far.

The sr flexshaft motor works as advertised. Finish on motor housing was scuffed up pretty good. This thing has lots of torque.

The booklet has the name of the name brand engraved on it. Read the manual with adjusting the sheath at 3/4 and making sure it not being used in a tight angle.

Cons

The pictures on amazon show a 1. Not 1. The instruction manual is a reprint of the foredom manual. Even tells you to contact foredo for service, which will only get you a scolding. Thankfully was only nicked slightly on the knuckle.

Packaging/appearance

The unit came in a generic foam packaging.

Anything using a lot of sideways force will eventually cause the chuck to wear out while the shank slowly slides out of the handpiece.
