The smaller size fits nice and snug and don't feel like they're going to fall off. Sizing is the key for these. They literally fit like a glove.
The vibram soles turn up, and stop my from tripping on my toes. I suffer from severe neuropathy due to lymes disease and these are the only shoes i can wear for any length of time.
Without the toe socks, they are tad big, but still wearable without socks. They are infinitely easier to put on and take off than the spyridons. Vibramfootwear.
Cons
Very disappointed and disenchanted with the v-trek product. Is falling apart with not even a months use" "they need to improve the seams! With the trek it becomes impossible.
The tread is awesome and i love the laces, but the fabric on the top of the shoe is very cheap and flimsy. With or without socks was ok, but within about 3 months, there was a hole in the big toe of the left foot.

The price is a bit extreme and i really wanted to hate them due to this.
Pricey, but if you like "zero" shoes, this is a really good one.
