The top of the cuff is ankle height so i need to wear ankle height toe socks to keep the cuff from rubbing my ankle. They're probably more constricting than most barefoot shoes, but i haven't tried any others to compare.

Solidly built minimalist shoe. Build quality is premium. It understandably takes time to build those up.

The tread is actually super good at gripping and with that comes the ability to collect dirt like you wouldn't believe. Comfortable on hot side walks of phoenix, az summers- excellent. Plan to go on long hike tomorrow to try out.

After wearing these for a few days now i believe having the lacing through the shoe is what actually makes these shoes fit so perfectly like a glove. Fit and wear are great on all.

I squat heavy two times per week and these shoes have lasted over 3 years. Got used to them within a day. When they do get wet, they dry out quickly, and are a breeze to clean.

With or without socks was ok. But, within about 3 months, there was a hole in the big toe of the left foot. Not a fan of the additional material by the ankle.
