Pros

Dayquil severe is the best over-the-counter cold medicine out there imho. This med tends to work better for me than others. This works just as well, plus it has an added ingredient for chest congestion.

The caplets are really convenient and easy to * when chased by water. I don't have to mess with the messy liquid cap that has to be rinsed out each time.

Packaging/appearance

It's a lot easier to use scissors or a sharp point to penetrate the packaging and get a foothold.

Honestly i want to knock off one star because the packaging is a nightmare.

Competitiveness

These things work fast and they are stronger than regular dayquil, which we have used for years.

I'm lucky in that i rarely get sick these days, but when i do, i like to have some of dayquil around as it helps me feel better fast.
