I recommend this unit if you need a workhorse that's low fuss. Bought another for my son. It's worth every penny.

White noise of the blower actually helps them sleep. Love the germ light. Decently quiet as well. The light on the knob is a very bright blue led.

When left on medium, it has to be refilled every 16 hours. The filters become discolored almost immediately. The tank is awkward to fill (in the sink) and it is just not big enough.

The mist does not blow up into the air like most humidifiers. I feel like it's more likely to end up on the (hardwood) floors before evaporating. The vent is pointed down to the floor.
