I really wanted to use this at night time to help with mild asthma which is affected by air quality but i find it too loud to leave on.
This, however, made a noticeable difference to the air quality.
I've only used the product for a week, so can't comment on longevity, though the build quality is what you'd expect at this price range.
We understand that by breathing better quality air, our family can live better.

This unit has 3 power settings an ionizer setting and a night light plus a warning light when the filter needs changing

Id further mention that ive not noticed a material benefit to leaving the ionizer on and i generally do not use this setting

One star off for the value price i cant see why this item would be priced at almost twice the amount of its 110 volt version

For some reason damp is a problem in the room i sleep in maybe the seals on the windows

Yes there is a level of noise from the unit which i initially thought should make me reduce the rating to four stars

In the end i decided not to because to be fair to vicks how can you have a fan unit which is silent

It is quite noisy though and cant be used when he is asleep as it is too loud

The air purifier was very easy to set up instructions were clear just used them to double check the settings
