Pros
It has a large tank, so it runs for many hours between refills. The top-fill facility is useful and the machine will run for 20 hours or so before needing a refill.
Although the handbook has a lot of pictograms - which i don't like much - there is also enough supporting text to make it usable. Otherwise no qualms whatsoever.

The top has a hinged lid so can be filled in situ from a jug or kettle. The scent pad goes in an easy to access little tray.
The device is well made and easy to use. It is produced by a mainstream manufacturer and offers a decent warranty. Available wide range in several sizes and prices.
Cons
The scent from the pads is weak and no where near as good as the calpol plug ins which do work. You have to clean and descale these mist machines and for the supposed benefit it's a hassle.

This humidifier is different from the rest of the humidifiers sold by vicks in that it is not ultrasonic and instead it releases warm mist of vapor

It only lacks of an automatic hygrometer that starts and stops the machine automatically thus you are better off buying the electronic vicks hygrometer that is sold here to monitor the level of humidity in your room
