Laser pointers dont work too well with digital whiteboards and can bounce off reflective surfaces into the eyes of those close by so there are plenty of occasions where this telescopic pointer is very useful to have in reserve

I couldnt see much use for the loop unless trying to point out objects halfway down a cliff face so i didnt use this
