Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The original all-metal setting mechanism was mostly effective in humane killing, so hopefully this performs as well. Extra large and very sturdy. Baiting is absolutely crucial to get the squirrels interested in going inside the cage for more walnuts.

Cons

Did not work at all. You need both hand to forcefully set the metal snap. But dint snap the rats in our car garage at all. Very hard to gat bate tray yo click in place.

I have searched and tried many alternatives to this traditional rat trap, but none have been both better and equally effective.

Unfortunately no other design works as well

I recently tried the traps that sit over a 5 gallon bucket and the rats fall in through a trap door as they approach the bait

Unfortunately despite the presence of many rats in my chicken coop i did not catch a single one with the bucket trap

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Baits and poison work but either the rats got too smart or grew immune as the poison is all gone but lots of rats remain

So though i hate the design i return once again to the only reliable rat control method i have found so far
