It works well with the correct bait


I’ll keep baiting but i’m fully aware that rats come with the delights of chickens.

It only seemed to scoff the bait leading to the trap, leaving the contents inside the trap untouched.

Ignore the 'rat trap' name it works on mice too as what i caught are defo mice.


I really didn't want to kill them, but the live-catch traps weren't working.

    We had little luck with traditional snap traps

    My cat passed away and i replaced it with a variety of rodent traps the old wooden spring nail the newer plastic type with the sprung loaded jaws a humane seesaw type using the same bate 9 out of 10 rodents prefered the electric trap

    After trying three different brands of mechanical traps over several weeks including one with the viciousness of jaws the target rat attracted by fallen seeds from the bird feeder managed to trigger the traps several times and scarper with the bait
