Most people think that they are outdated. These original victor traps always catch their pry.
Cons
Quality of fastener is also sub-par. Pressure pad is not sensitive enough. Stopped using them. Exterminator also says they’re worthless.

It worked better to put an end to my mouse better than humane traps or glue traps which were pretty useless but the end result was rather gruesome and the trap flung itself with the dead and bloody mouse about a foot into my lamp and tv cords

I think the plastic latching style is more popular because of being more sensitive

You have to adjust the metal latch on these a little then theyre just as sensitive
